The International Powerlifting Federation (IPF) awaits The World Games from 25 July to 4 August 2013 in Cali, Colombia, with anticipation. As one of the first IWGA members, the IPF has participated in every edition of the games since their beginnings in 1981.
Due to the increased number of athletes, this year there will be three (30 July to 1 August) instead of two Powerlifting competition days with athletes striving for gold in eight medal events of different weight classes.
