Good to know

At The World Games 2017, Oleksii Rokochiy from the Ukraine lifted a total weight of 1105.4 kg to win the Men’s Super Heavyweight Final. Just looking at the squat, Joseph Cappelino (166 kg body weight) lifted the heaviest load of 440 kg. No-one asked for more kilos on their barbell.
But it’s not only about heavy weights: Powerlifting is the ultimate test of strength for athletes of all sizes, some of the strongest weighing in at just over 44 kg.
