Anton Rabe - New Acting President of TWIF
Anton Rabe, the current Treasurer, has been appointed as Acting President of the International Tug Of War Federation (TWIF). He will be in charge until the elections at the next Annual Meeting of TWIF.
The change in office-holder became necessary after President Cathal McKeever stepped down due to health issues. He had informed the board that he no longer felt able to fully carry out the duties required of him. Glen Johnson, Secretary General of TWIF, commented on this announcement: “This is sad news for our Federation - Cathal will be dearly missed.”
The IWGA family sends best wishes to Cathal McKeever for better health, and wishes the new Acting President well in his new role.
