Let’s look back to The World Games 2017: what was our most successful social media post during the event in Wroclaw, Poland? It was one which showed that even the strongest men can cry. Polish gold medalist in Powerlifting Olech Jaroslaw showed his emotion on the podium without at all being coy.

This video was produced by chance. Agata Bukowska, one of the 1500 volunteers, was at the National Forum of Music where the Powerlifting competition took place. She saw how the winner of the middleweight discipline was showing his emotions when the national anthem of Poland was being played. She did not hesitate to film the touching scene. The short clip reached 100,000 people over Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

So let’s once again share this special moment of The World Games 2017 and what it means to the athletes to become The Word Games Champion.
