The International World Games Association (IWGA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Constance Terrier as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Constance Terrier joins the IWGA from World Archery, where she served as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and contributed significantly to the federation’s strategic and operational development. Bringing extensive experience in international sport governance, stakeholder relations, and event management, she will lead the IWGA into its next phase of growth and innovation.

Originally from Paris, France, Constance Terrier’s career path has led her to evolve within the archery movement, gaining experience at every level of the community. Beginning as an athlete, she went on to serve as a coach and later took on leadership responsibilities in the management of a major archery club in France. Her broad understanding of sport, combined with her extensive experience in international relations and sports administration, has made her a respected figure within the international sporting landscape.

IWGA President Anna Arzhanova welcomed the appointment, saying:

"We are delighted to welcome Constance Terrier as the new CEO of the IWGA. Her proven leadership, international sports expertise, and forward-looking vision make her exceptionally well suited to guide our organisation as we continue to strengthen the global profile of The World Games."

Commenting on her appointment, Constance Terrier said:

"I am honoured to join the IWGA and contribute to the continued success of The World Games movement. I look forward to working closely with our 40 Member Federations, the Karlsruhe 2029 Organising Committee, our athletes, the National Olympic Committees and National Sports Organisations, and our partners to further expand the reach and impact of our events worldwide."

As CEO, Constance Terrier will oversee the day-to-day operations of the IWGA and support the implementation of the organisation’s strategic objectives, working closely with its member International Federations, host cities, and stakeholders across the global sports community.

The IWGA welcomes Constance Terrier and looks forward to her leadership as the organisation prepares for future editions of The World Games, The World Games Series and continues its mission to promote sports beyond the Olympic programme.
