Lausanne, Switzerland – 29 January 2026 — The International World Games Association (IWGA) is pleased to announce the renewal of its partnership with Quantum Consultancy for the period 2025–2034, reaffirming a long-standing collaboration that supports The World Games, The World Games Series and the organisation’s long-term strategic development.
The renewal was approved by the IWGA Executive Committee at its meeting on 17 December 2025 and reflects strong confidence in Quantum’s expertise and its continued contribution to IWGA’s strategic objectives.
Under the renewed agreement, Quantum will support IWGA across strategic planning and implementation, organisational development, and event-related evaluation, while also strengthening internal capabilities through targeted collaboration with key stakeholders across The World Games movement. The partnership will place a particular emphasis on translating strategy into effective delivery and supporting decision-making through robust evidence-based insight and advisory.
As part of this collaboration, IWGA highlights its Strategy Paper, a project led by Quantum in cooperation with ExCo member Jan Fransoo, following extensive Member consultation. The Strategy has laid the groundwork for strategic initiatives across IWGA activities and can be accessed here.
The benefits of the renewed partnership are already visible: Quantum developed and moderated the NOCs/NSOs debrief and workshop in Frankfurt , Germany, earlier this month, producing targeted learnings and insights from the 15 National Olympic Committees and National Sports Organisations that participated.
Looking ahead, future TWG / TWG Series host cities will also significantly benefit from this collaboration, gaining strategic guidance, enhanced planning support and operational expertise through partnership with Quantum.
Quantum’s continued involvement will ensure consistency, innovation and strategic insight across IWGA’s activities, while supporting the organisation’s evolving operational and governance priorities.
IWGA President José Perurena welcomed the renewal, stating:
“Quantum has proven to be a trusted and forward-thinking partner for IWGA. Their expertise in reporting and strategic recommendations has added significant value to our events. As we enter a new phase of organisational development, we are confident that Quantum’s support will help us translate our Strategy into measurable impact. On behalf of the IWGA, I’d like to sincerely thank the Quantum team for their work around the 12th edition of The World Games in the past few months.”
Colin Stewart, Director of Quantum Consultancy, added:
“We are incredibly proud to continue our partnership with IWGA and to deepen our support for its long term vision. It is a privilege to work alongside the IWGA team and contribute our experience in event advisory, including operational planning and impact measurement. Above all, we are committed to helping create lasting value for The World Games movement. We would like to thank IWGA leadership for their continued trust.”
