The International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) announced on Sunday its decision to follow up with the competitions at The World Games 2013 in Cali. FIG, in close consultation with the International World Games Association (IWGA), decided that training and competitions could go ahead provided the air conditioning system in the warm-up, training and competition venues does not fail. The IWGA declared itself satisfied with this solution in the interest of sports and the success of The World Games 2013. The decisions pertains the competitions in Trampoline and Acrobatic Gymnastics starting at El Pueblo Coliseum on Monday.

The International World Games Association (IWGA) is a non-profit-making international sports organisation recognised and supported by the International Olympic Committee. The IWGA comprises 40 International Member Sports Federations. It administers and promotes The World Games (TWG), a multi-sport event held every four years that features around 35 sports on its programme. The World Games 2025 are currently taking place in Chengdu (CHN) until 17 August 2025. 4,000 athletes from more than 110 countries are taking part in this 12th edition. The latest Games were hosted by Birmingham, Alabama (USA) in 2022.
