Camille Bastin joined the IWGA team in January 2024 and was appointed Communications Director in January 2026. Based at the IWGA Headquarters in Lausanne, she brings 15 years of experience in international sports communication.
In her role, Camille leads the IWGA Communications Department and is responsible for institutional communication activities, including press relations, media operations, crisis management and broadcasting. She oversees the organisation’s overall communication strategy and works closely with the IWGA Executive Board to support the organisation’s vision and objectives. She also serves as the main point of contact for communications matters for IWGA stakeholders. Her work focuses on strengthening the visibility and impact of The World Games and the IWGA worldwide.
Prior to joining the IWGA, Camille worked for leading Olympic International Federations and gained experience across several Olympic Games, World Championships and major international sports events. The World Games 2025 in Chengdu, China marked her first edition of The World Games with the IWGA.
