Anna Jacobson has led The World Games Communication department part-time since 2017. In 2015 and 2016 she was responsible for The World Games social media platforms.
Since 2017 press work has also been a part of Jacobson's responsibilities, along with the internet presence and cooperation with the media offices of the Birmingham 2022 organisers and the international federations. Her first edition of The World Games on site was the 9th edition in Cali, Colombia in 2013, when she was responsible for communication working for the International Orienteering Federation. She is also a proven anti-doping expert.
Jacobson has worked in the international sports industry since 2008.
