Big coverage in Asia for TWG 2017

The World Games 2017 will be shown on several TV stations throughout China. Lagardere Sports/U!Sports has signed an agreement with the Asian distributor Madison, which guarantees several partners in China, including CCTV 5, Shanghai TV, Beijing TV, Guangdong TV, IPTV, and China Mobile/MiGo with approximately 400 million users.

IWGA CEO Joachim Gossow says: “This is the biggest media platform The World Games has ever had in Asia. We are very pleased about the deal with Madison and with the coverage in China that will reach hundreds of millions of people.”

The World Games is a multi-sport event staged every four years by the International World Games Association under the patronage of the International Olympic Committee. The 10th edition of The World Games will be held in Wroclaw, Poland, 20–30 July 2017. Over 4,000 athletes from 31 sports and over 100 countries will take part in the Games.
