Korfball Draw for EKC

The IKF Competitions organised the draw to establish the pools for the IKF European Korfball Championship (IKF EKC) to be held from Saturday 25 October to Sunday 2 November 2014 in Maia (Porto region), Portugal.

Sixteen (16) teams will compete to become the next IKF European Korfball Champion with a new promotion-relegation system after three (3) pool days when the numbers one of pools C and D will replace the numbers four of the A and B pool.

In the new composition the tournament will continue with quarter finals as from Wednesday October 29th. The finals will take place on 2 November 2014.

The IKF European Korfball Championship is the most important korfball event in the IKF’s 2014 calendar.

The Netherlands is the current holder of the IKF European Korfball Championship following the last championship held in Rotterdam, The Netherlands in 2010.
