A Token of Gratitude for the Member Federations

The International World Games Association took the opportunity to invite its member federations (IFs) that are present at TWG 2017 to a breakfast this morning. In his welcome speech IWGA President José Perurena praised the IF officials for their outstanding contribution to the success of the event.

José Perurena stated: “You and your staff have been working very hard in the recent months and years to prepare for these games. Thanks for all your effort.” As a token of gratitude for the International Federations to the success of TWG 2017, President Perurena offered the representatives of the IF’s a small memento made from glass with a 3D laser engraving that was specially manufactured in terms of The World Games2017.

One of these mementos was given to the Mayor of Wroclaw Rafał Dutkiewicz. His moment on stage was embraced by a long and enthusiastic applause of the representatives of the IF. It was their way to show their gratitude for presenting the sports of The World Games in such an outstanding manner.

At the same occasion Antonio Espinos, President of the International Karate Federation, was awarded a prize by the International Fair Play Committee (IFPC). The IPFC acknowledged President Espinos’s tremendous efforts to support and to promote idea of sportsmanship not only in his federation, but in all sport.
