The Wrocław Organising Committee announced that due to high interest from the media, it has been decided to extend the process of accreditation until 14.06.2017.
Those journalists who have submitted properly filled-out applications during the first phase of accreditation (until 20.05.2017) will receive notification from the Organising Committee (WOC) within the next two weeks. Applications are being processed in order of receipt.
To submit an application, interested parties should visit https://theworldgames2017.com/en/contact/press-room/ where there is a link leading to the accreditation system. After registration with the system, applicants will be directed to a form, which should be filled out according to the instructions provided.
Shortly after completing the form, applicants will receive an automatically generated message confirming that the application has been received. Please note that some time may then elapse before applicants receive a response, due to the necessary processing and examination of transit information by the Polish authorities. It should be noted that submitting an application does not automatically guarantee that an accreditation will be issued. Information regarding the application's acceptance or otherwise will be sent to the e-mail address designated by the applicant during the registration process.
In the case of a particularly high level of interest and limited space in some venues, the WOC may issue additional entrance passes for some competitions and events.
Journalists working in cooperation with International Federations of The World Games sports, National Olympic Committees or the International Olympic Committee itself are kindly requested to mark the appropriate box on the application form. The TWG2017 accreditation team will seek confirmation from the appropriate organisation that the person in question is in fact a delegate. The International Federations have already been asked to provide a list of their affiliated journalists.
